Animation – Animation is a method in which pictures are manipulated to appear as moving images. Nowadays these are created exclusively digitally using computers with video production software.
Adobe After Effects – a digital visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing application developed by Adobe Systems and used in the post-production process of film making and television production. Among other things, After Effects can be used for keying, tracking, compositing and animation. It also functions as a very basic non-linear editor, audio editor and media transcode.
Brief – A collection of information from the client about the project.
Storyboard – a graphic representation of how your video will unfold, shot by shot. It’s made up of a number of squares with illustrations or pictures representing each shot, with notes about what’s going on in the scene and what’s being said in the script during that shot.
